@Never for Money I completely agree. This piece was fine but...I'd rather have had the friend write the story. I also found the "married men" thing weird--as if it's at all remarkable that sex workers sleep with married men.

On Dude Pays Off Lots of Debt Pretty Quickly
I'm baffled by the negativity in some of the comments here. He wanted the debt gone. He didn't want to pay any more interest. So he took on a pretty austere lifestyle that few people I know would be able to maintain. I'm impressed.

@SterlingCooper05 I live in D.C., lots of friends with kids. You are simply mistaken about the costs of childcare in this region. It's cripplingly high. I know lawyers who stay at home with their kids because day care would more or less eat their whole salary. I have so much sympathy for this woman!
