I'm in charge of catering at work, so my grocery bill dropped to about $40/month. I eat our leftovers!
I, too, was recruited off of linkedin-didn't take the job, but still, it happened.
@loren smith Your parents aren't cheap. They make different choices about where they spend their money. That's not the same.
@readyornot I'm not interested in it at all, but if you're writing a piece on it, I feel like it's pretty easy info to find, rather than not remembering.
@SterlingCooper05 Yeah, but he didn't say *where* he lived. In NYC or SF, 700k doesn't even put you anywhere extravagant.
@madrassoup This-he says his parents were 'cheap' but then says they send him traveling. Um.
Good points, all. BUT: "2 percent back on some things I don’t remember" You are writing an article on finance for a blog and you couldn't take five minutes to check on this??? Poor journalism.
Is anyone else just exhausted by all the variations on our drinks these days? All the decision-making makes me sleepy.
This article was obnoxious. Not only by their total lack of foresight into having a child, but in the way the author talks about how her body made her do it, and her "primal urges". Her failure to create a successful career in Maine led her to want to be selfless and raise a child? A PEACEMAKER?? This is ALL about her ego, otherwise she wouldn't pin so much of her BS on the forthcoming babe.
Ok, now you're just trolling them.
