On WWYD: Thanking Your Host

As someone who's hosted a fair amount of people, I would say cleaning their kitchen and doing housework accounts for a lot. I remember when I hosted my friend's mom for a couple weeks that she would clean my kitchen every morning, and even if she didn't take me out for dinner or give me anything in return for the housing, her actions still made her seem like a thankful and thoughtful guest.

On Cleans Clothes and Pays for Drugs

On This Is a Story of Ink, Lasers, and Regret$

I made several of these "red flag" decisions, but happily, I love all my tattoos. My first was totally impulse; I was walking with a friend on St. Marks and passed a tattoo shop and just said "Hey, come with me inside- I want something". So I got a tiny one, which was poorly done, but I still love it because it was my first and is cute. Thankfully, I thought about my bigger pieces more, and designed them. Impulse may not always turn out badly?

On My Parents Said Money Didn't Matter, But It Did

@CLhere Haha it was the big saying around 2003/4 I think. Yea, I moved pretty far away so I don't have to be around the place anymore, although I did have to be back for an audition last year and, not gonna lie, the practice rooms still freak me out. I remember when everyone was auditioning for grad school and not understanding WHY my classmates would choose to stay.

On My Parents Said Money Didn't Matter, But It Did

@CLhere would that school happen to one in the middle of manhattan which robin williams said was like a prison with cellos? I only ask because I am also an alum and am HIGHLY impressed that you managed to pay off all your loans while living in NY and because I know how hard it is to find a job in our field. Damn girl. (And what years were you if you did go to the same school? Do we know each other? Ahhhh).

On Not Sleeping

hmm, not really. I mean, I never quite make it in the mornings, and my schedule usually goes throughout the day without a good enough chunk until the night. I should give it a try though! Thanks
