@Megano! Going to a restaurant is not a right, it's a thing you pay for. If you can't afford it, that's unfortunate, but you can't give yourself a discount at someone else's expense and without that person's permission. How is that NOT fucked up?

@Megano! Realtalk: Don't go if you can't leave a good tip. Not as often as you can -- every single time.

I'm leaving for a week in Paris tomorrow so the weekend probably won't be that spendy since I'll spend half of it in airports/on a plane. But once I get there... I will spend all the money. All of it.

My one thing is to mail Logan a note congratulating her on paying off her credit card.

I really expected to see a tag for "human dog". Otherwise, excellent chat! Not that there's anything wrong with Logan & Mike's chats, but the dynamic is so familiar now that it's great that other people are featured for variety. I don't know if any of the sentences I just wrote make any sense because I'm pretty much drunk from drinking some kind of award-winning delicious German beer. I would definitely lend money to you right now, Logan.

My one thing was to get an IUD to spite the anti-science doctor who said I shouldn't (see deets on the IUD post), which I did yesterday! My related one thing is to call and cancel my follow up appointment with the anti-science doc, complain to her supervisor, and then schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. Lots of health things happening this week! And now The Billfold know more about my healthcare than my mother. I'm starting to think I should make Mike and Logan my emergency contacts.

Two of my three tattoos were impulse tattoos, the first of which I got at age 17. All of them are in visible places on my body. None are tattoos that at this exact point in my life, I would probably get. But I love them all, and I don’t regret any of them, and I’ve never for a second considered removal. I think there’s something to be said for having a time and a place in your life etched permanently on your skin – even when you’re far, far past that time and place in your life. I don’t know, it’s like accepting and paying tribute to myself as I was then, and I love that.
