On What Kind of Milk?!?!?!
I go with whole local organic non-homogenized. I don't like ultrapasteurized milk because I think it changes the flavor. I like non-homogenized milk because i like to eat the cream off the top and it's yummy. In related news: TWICE this week, I have gone grocery shopping and forgotten to put away my dairy when I got home. I've ruined a bag of shredded cheese, two yogurts, and a half gallon of said local organic non-homogenized milk. Ugh.

On The Best Happy Hour in the World?
You didn't drink all that by yourself did you? Is that drinks for two people? I have a really low tolerance, so it would impress me if you did. That does sound like a pretty good happy hour.

On Brian Lam Continues to Be a Genius
Yes, but what if I tend to spend too much of my budget on airline tickets? What do I compare it too? Then once I'm away from home, I spend far too much on food ("I'm in Seattle! I have to eat ALL of the seafood!").

On Boozin' on a Budget
BYO to a bar? I hope you are joking with this one. That is just stealing! They aren't just selling you alcohol at the bar, they are selling you alcohol to drink at their establishment. If you can't afford to by alcohol at the bar, either drink water or stay home. Don't BYO.

On Haircut Negotiations
@MuffyStJohn Just to be different (I had roommates who gave bad reviews of Bang, but other people seemed to love it), when I lived in DC I went to Yodit at Salon Revive at 9th and U. Loved my cuts and color.

On Money Spent This Weekend
Friday: hung out with my neighbors and they gave me ice cream. FREE! Saturday: went to the gym, made myself a smoothie, played softball, volunteered with my old roller derby team (free burritos!), and went to celebrate my friend's birthday and another friend bought me a beer. ALL FREE! Sunday: walked around the neighborhood yard and sidewalk sale with my parents (bought a 50 cent lemonade being sold by the neighborhood children), went to lunch with my parents (they paid), walked back through the neighborhood yard and sidewalk sale ($5 picnic cooler bag, $30 dress +tax, $26 baby outfit for baby shower), went to baby shower. about $66 total I was feeling a little guilty about the dress, but when I add up the whole weekend, I was pretty well behaved.

On Monetary Discourse on the L Train
I can't believe they didn't comp the whole meal for date guy. How could he even pay the portion they didn't comp? They gave away his freakin' card! Yes, shit happens, and when it does happen, meals get comped.
