that $1000.00 closet person is totally and completely deluded right? I mean ... is that a joke?! What person in their right mind would think they have a shot in hell of getting somebody to live there?! am I wrong?! Do I just not understand manhattan?! I have so many questions.

On I Was a Victim of Fraud and I Don't Care
when it comes to bank fraud like this, the banks are really the ones that lose because they have to repay the money. then again, they have lots of money. then AGAIN, maybe they have insurance that pays the money instead, so it's really the insurance companies that lose, and THEY have lots of money. This happened to me once, and it was right after my mom had put tuition money into my bank account, so there was a hefty chunk to steal. I will say this for BMO - they put it right back into my account the next day - possibly the only positive experience I've ever had with them.

@mygoldies it's kind of a rural canada thing (from what little I know of it) but some places in the world have them under a different name, like hen and .. something. Something that I forget. They do exist in other parts of the world. Stag and Does are just effing rude. I swear on my dragons I will never.

@lemon_lyman it's so funny you used that specific example because I had actually read this before on the billfold, and I actually do bank with BMO so I went to my local branch with all my coins and they said no, they don't have that, go to the grocery store. I'm so curious to know where the discrepancy is here - whether all branches really don't have a free coin counter or whether they just said whatever they felt like regardless of whether it matches up with reality. The latter is how I often feel when banking at BMO, like when one guy told me I needed to write my bank account number on all rolls of coins, and the next time I was like, here let me just write my bank number and the lady was like ... you don't need to do that. BMO, my least favourite bank, or reallllly my least favourite bank? hard to decide.
