@stuffisthings My goal is to be invited to the Gondii Summit, which is an annual Bilderberg-like conference for owners of star Internet cats (Bub, Maru, et al). Mr B and I have much work to do.

I guess I’ll milk Mr.Biscuit Frenzy one more time, but this is it, swear to god, no more cat stuff.

@Bill Fostex Oh, and this may sound ridiculous, but I went to an acupuncturist for pain treatment and it worked amazingly well.

@hellonheels I was kind of shocked by how quick my doctor was to recommend surgery. I'm not usually quick to recommend crunchy medicine, but in this case it turned out great for me (though it was a long, gradual recovery; it took about six months of these tedious exercises, all the while being super careful to not re-injure myself). Good luck with it.

@hellonheels I had a herniated disc that really bugged me for over a year. At its best it was just mildly painful, and at its worst it made it difficult to even walk. A regular doctor gave me some painkillers and said "Take these, stop riding your bike, and if it doesn't improve then we'll do surgery." Long story, blah blah, I ended up going to a naturopathic chiropractor who said "do these stretches and exercises every day, diligently, and go to a gentle yoga [basic poses, very mild stretching, generally for people with injuries or disabilities] class every week for a couple months." I did those things, and my pain went away and has never come back. So, maybe try that before something drastic like surgery.

Today I finally made good on my resolution to resume cooking for myself and bringing lunch to work. Almost every meal I've had for the last two or three months has been purchased outside my home.

@DickensianCat Chanan sent physical prints in the mail -- a 4x6 and a wallet-size of all 80-some shots -- along with an order form like you get (or got? I don't know how it works nowadays) for your high school yearbook pictures. So, I'm probably going to get one of the wonky ones in a large size to hang on my wall.

@stuffisthings Thanks for shouldering the burden this week, stuff.
