I paid of my credit cards on Friday!! So after that I was not so apt to spend money at all. However, my boyfriend promised to take me out on TWO (TWO!!) dates this weekend, so spending was unavoidable. I spent: $34 on two Avengers tickets. That was ridiculous. $15 at the grocery store for wings on Sunday, ingredients for rice krispie treats, and a couple other things. $6.70 at Starbucks for coffees for me and the boyfriend. $.99 on an iPhone game I'm not sure I'll ever play. But, most importantly, I PAID OFF MY CREDIT CARDS!!!!

@Logan Sachon Yes! Logan, you have become my new hero. ...Okay, hero isn't the word. Whatever the word is for a person who is eerily similar to you in that thing that you were embarrassed about because you thought you were the only 27-year-old with that amount of credit card debt BUT YOU AREN'T and it feels SO GOOD to know that there's others out there just like you and they aren't morons. I simultaneously feel comforted and inspired. Neither of those are words I have ever used when talking about my finances.

My least favorites are those "there's no right answer, I just want to see how you think!" questions. Like when the crazy woman who interviewed me for a temp secretary job asked why manhole covers were round. "Because it's what Microsoft asks" is not a legitimate reason to ask dumb questions like this, BTW.
