@Mike Dang Ask for the most experienced phlebotomist there, and make sure to drink a LOT of water the 24 hrs prior to donation!
@Megano! that's pretty standard for SF, unfortunately.
@Sandra Boiteau@facebook I laughed out loud when I read this comment because 1. I'm a vegetarian so this doesn't make any sense to me because I eat eggs ALL THE TIME and 2. everyone I date is cheap/broke because I'm 23.
3, 2, 2. But for question A, $50 is A LOT for me right now (graduated college 1 year ago today, oy vey), so I would say $20. $20 is like 2 lunches out or one night of drinking in a bar if I order drinks based on maximum drunkenness per dollar spent, and I can definitely sacrifice that for a friend.
this is so timely because I graduated ONE YEAR AGO and I hate my job and I'm not very good at it. And I feel like I can't complain, because, y'know, it's a JOB in my FIELD with a SALARY and BENEFITS. And that is lucky and great, but I wish I didn't hate 75% of my workday, you know?
oh gurl I ask for change at donation-based yoga all the time. no shame!
