On Do All The Things You've Been Putting Off (Syke Just Do 1 Thing)

I made an appointment for a haircut and did a shit ton of things at work. But the ONE THING that I have been putting off is cutting the cord with the gym membership I haven't used that's costing me $80/month. OK, I'm calling the gym tomorrow.

@Megano! I like that you listed your dishwasher first! If we had a dishwasher, I would hate to lose it also.

On It's a Great Day to Do That 1 Thing

@kellyography I write 'Make a list' at the top of mine. I also include things like 'pet the cats' and 'eat lunch' so I don't forget to stop and smell the roses.

On How Many Dollars Do You Donate And Why: Some Super Short Chats

@jfruh That sounds like a good tactic; the more protesters, the more donations for PP, which is a great organization.

On How Many Dollars Do You Donate And Why: Some Super Short Chats

I donated $20 to Elizabeth Warren last week! Once, I went to Planned Parenthood for the ladybiz checkup. There was a lone protester outside. When I went in, I donated an extra $25 just to spite the protester. It felt great! I also have a small monthly donation to Bitch Magazine, because I feel like it's important to support independent media. I'd donate more, but I also work at a nonprofit, so I'm not exactly rolling in the dollars.

On Pixie Cuts: The Right Financial Choice for Your Head

@lobsterhug Whoa, good tip! Another good place in Boston that's not outrageously priced is Rock Paper Scissors on Newbury. I know it's on Newbury but I thought their prices were very affordable for cut and color and they did great work on my baby-fine, short hair.
