This reminded me to Check my TransitChek balance and make a hair appointment for when my girl gets back from maternity leave in August. Woo one thing day! Also great job on the hostessing gig. @Franny Every broker I've contacted through friends has been just as bad. It's like they just don't care. One guy was even like, "Oh, I'm just a freelance broker, I'm not really doing any listings right now." How is that even a thing?

On In High School, With Dollars to Spend
@DickensianCat I had a boyfriend who went to one of those schools where everyone had to wear the same faux-dress or tux front for their senior pictures. That seems like such a weird tradition, and yet, it's so widespread! I am horribly un-photogenic so I didn't give a crap about my senior picture. I don't remember what I paid, but I definitely had to pay for it on my own, so I only got one pose, and no prints. I wore a green polo (khaki shorts and brown chucks out of frame), no makeup, and was in and out of there in like 15 minutes.

I went to a Yankee game the other week, and someone asked his date to prom via a message on the jumbotron! It was kind of adorable, but absolutely nobody at my school did anything like that.

On TV, A La Carte
HGTV reminds me of home, too. When I'm staying at my mom's over holidays, I sometimes stay up watching everything on HGTV until it goes off-air at like 4am. I would also want BBC America, but I haven't had a TV in so long, I don't even know what airs on what channels. What are the good channels?!
