@emilies @minijen Yeah. That’s a big part of my moving to the UK story. We got married quick-like and I applied for a marriage visa / indefinite leave to remain. It was a rather complicated and expensive process, but certainly simpler than if you’re trying to go for a non-marriage visa I think. We just did a city hall thing, no ceremony, so in my mind and to everyone besides the bank he’s still my boyfriend and not my husband. If that makes sense.
