On No One Will Ever Love You Like I Do 1 Thing

I did my one thing! I called my credit card company and asked them to lower my APR. I was skeptical it would work; but it did! Down from 12.74 to 10.99. That sounds good to me! ONE THING, ONE THING!

On From Vermont to Alaska in Nine Days and $2K (Approx)

My boyfriend and I (both Anchorage/Girdwoodites) are going to take the ferry up from Bellingham in a couple weeks. It is amazingly cheap (like ~$300 for tickets) if you forgo the cabin and tent camp on the deck. It's heated! We have to ship the truck with us (another $950) but only having to drive from Haines into town makes it worth it. I'll say hi to Santa for you. :) I'm pretty excited to finally visit my state's capitol. You know, the one that you CAN'T DRIVE TO.

On Friday Estimate

$60.00 winter tire change over (I live in Alaska and Saturday marks the first day that we can put winter tires on without getting a ticket.) $30.00 or so at the grocery store $20-30 at hardware store (We have our second hurricane force wind storm arriving this weekend and i need some new flashlights and batteries) $20.00 at used book store (and books for when the power goes out for another 4-5 days) Goal Total: less that $150. If you take out the stupid tire changeover, that isn't too bad.
