@RiffRandell YES, good lord. I just thought OH JEEZ it's bedtime and I haven't done my One Thing today but it's not bedtime, it's 6:09. Stupid dark.
@Leigh Devereaux@facebook Agreed, if you are a trustee I don't understand why you can't just call the institution that adminsters the trust and get the scoop.
I hadn't updated my YNAB since 11/05 so i sat down this morning and did that. One thing=oh whoops guess I shouldn't have bought that perfume.
Also, get rid of your lululemon, seriously, they are revolting. http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2013/11/07/243706174/lululemon-founder-our-pants-wont-work-for-some-women
I'm so curious about why a dude would think I want to read about his hotel masturbation habits in an essay ostensibly about cheap travel.
@wallsdonotfall Ditto. Biking adds about 20 minutes to my commute compared to the bus, and about an hour compared to driving, but that time in itself is so much less valuable to me than the exercise and decompression of biking. Best lifestyle decision ever. PS sorry about the traffic fall! That sounds bad and scary :(
I estimated $75 for groceries because I always underestimate and wanted to have the satisfaction of coming in under for once. I ended up spending $53.17, go me! Then I didn't spend any more money until I cracked on Sunday night and ran to the drugstore to get nail polish and a chocolate bar to entertain myself with until Homeland came on--that ended up being $8.16/ So, $61.33 for the weekend, not too bad!
Grocery store run: I always underestimate these so I am hoping to spend $50 but I will say $75. I have zero other plans besides doing a whole big bunch of homework and going on bike rides, so maybe I will not spend any more than my grocery money? That would be nice!
I ended up spending $64.17 at the grocery store instead of the $50 I predicted--I need to get better at either predicting my grocery spending OR knocking it off with weird impulse purchases at the grocery store. I also spent $22.39 on craft-related items (quilt batting; sweater pattern) and $20 on laundry quarters, which I'd forgotten I needed when I did my estimate. So, I estimated $73 and actually spent $106.56. But! I asked my landlord for permission to paint my living room, and not only was he into it but he offered to pay for my paint and supplies, which I was not expecting, so that's probably like $150 that I was planning on spending and now don't have to. So I'm choosing to look at this at closing out the weekend at $43.44 in the black. That totally works, right?
@BillfoldMonkey Oh no wait, I need some quilt batting too. I think it's on sale at Joann's this week so $15. So then $75 or $175, with the tax.
