On WWYD: The Envelope Full of Cash

Money is a tough one. Once I found about half a pound of weed in a bar bathroom, and although I'm not one for drugs myself I was working in a restaurant at the time so it was pretty easy for me to find people to sell it to. (Super cheap, natch.) But money? Ehhh. If it was under $100 I would keep it with no guilt, but I would eavesdrop around a bit first to make sure there was no one standing nearby panicking about it. More than $100 I'd tell the bartender and give them my contact into in case someone reported it missing. But I would keep it if no one claimed it.

On Chatting About Babies, and How One Couple is Planning for a New Arrival

I love this! Congrats on your upcoming sleepless nights, Ester! Also yesssssss cloth diapers, so much better than disposables and actually a huge money saver! I spent $300 on diapers to last from birth to pottytraining, plus whatever the cost is of an extra load of laundry every two days r whatever. So awesome! So easy! So many cute colours and patterns!

On Places I Have Lived: Disgusting Carpet, a Lone Cockroach, and a Hole in the Ceiling

So basically what I'm getting from this is that you can have a perfectly nice apartment in NYC for the same price or less than a comparable apartment in Edmonton. WTF! Why am I still here?!? My last apartment was $1000/month, and although it was conveniently located, it was less than 600sqft and it wasn't that nice.
