On Should Your Wedding Gift Cover Your Meal?

@dj pomegranate WHY would you ever skimp on a photog? I don't understand why people think that's a good idea. The photos are all you have left of the wedding when it's all over (aside from the spouse).

On I Need to Do Everything in My Power Not to Be Poor

@polka dots vs stripes There's always one commentor that has to distrust everything as if a 500 word blog post would have every single detail of her life. I'm sure a lot happened we don't need to know about in order to understand her story.

On WWYD: Slightly Overcharged

@Ellie Exactly. Best to do it there on the spot. I hated it when people would come back the NEXT DAY and claim they had been over charged. Just do it there. It takes one minute to fix.

On WWYD: Slightly Overcharged

@Bill Schoonmaker@facebook I was a Starbucks barista for years in a mall. No matter how busy, just cut back in line or tell the barista on the bar and they'll clear the way for you (I've done that a lot). It doesn't mean the baristas will be happy about it, but it was a barista mistake that's easy to fix and you'll probably get a coupon for your trouble.

On Personal Austerity Measures in Effect, According to Thursday Night Texts

@iffie I know exactly what you're talking about! My PS3 just died this past week which caused a slight crisis in the household until we get it fixed because it's how we normally watch Netflix and the majority of our DLC and hard copy games are for PS. We have a 360 too but XBox charges you for Live Gold, which is the only way you can use Netflix/Hulu/Xfinity on their device. WTF?
