Important European Lifestyle Innovation

In Brussels, Belgium, you can now order hot, freshly-made french fries from a vending machine:

“After a 90-second wait, the $3.50 half-cup serving emerges from the vending machine accompanied by a choice of sauces. Customers can choose between ketchup, mayonnaises (which is the classic fry condiment across much of Europe) and a mysterious offering simply called “samurai.”

Good work, humanity.

@Meaghano It’s a spicy mayo and it’s delicious!

Meaghano (#529)

@EvanDeSimone oh shitttt. I love anytime you can disguise a mayo just enough that you can forget you are eating straight up mayo on fries

EvanDeSimone (#2,101)

@Meaghano I am out and proud about my egregious mayo consumption

Oh my gosh I want one of these to be installed in the convenience store across the street from my apartment. So I can have instant fries all of the time.

@Wilgrims Ha, thank you. That pun might have been my proudest blogging moment of the week.
