Adjunct Life

Margaret Mary Vojtko taught French for 25 years as an adjunct at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, then died in poverty. Her lawyer, one of the last people to talk to her, wrote a tribute to her—and a condemnation of the union-busting university that failed her.
