Hey @Blackbird, a lot of people at the workshop were looking for temporary living spaces, or were more focused on how to incorporate eco-friendly design into their current living spaces. Thanks for reading!

@Logan Sachon Commenting patterns are the great mystery of the internet! And after I finished commenting I scrolled back up and saw the Facebook Likes and Tweets and went: "Oh." and felt silly. But hooray for popularity!

@Blackbird do not be sad! this post got read a lot and had a big facebook and twitter presence -- i've never felt that comments are in any way indicative of a post's popularity, but it is so interesting what spurs people to comment, and what doesn't. i still haven't figured it out.

I'm so sad this article didn't get more responses. I love the Tiny House idea, even if I'm not sure I could manage it. But I definitely want to give it a shot someday! It's a lot more about adjusting your lifestyle than trying to cram it into a smaller space, and for some reason it makes me think I'd achieve some piece of mind by being forced to simplify. Plus it seems like the one way I could afford to buy a house without taking out an enormous mortgage. And the ability to actually build my own house? Bonus.

Tristan and Libby sound hardcore, though. I think I'd at least need something a little more solid than just canvas in the long-term. And they seem to handle conflict better than I do. Props to them!
