How Stress Impacts Your Waistline AND Your Bottom Line
Me: I have bought myself so many things this week. Just me out on the town, buying meals, buying drinks. Who do I think I am?

Oddly, being stressed about impending unemployment has also caused me to keep to my budget less. What the heck self?! Aaaaaah I need to get my life back on track.
@redheaded&crazy I can relate! Because when you’re unemployed/bumed out it’s too stressful to keep track. Break the cycle!
This doesn’t seem like that much food to me? (I mean, did you even eat dinner on Sunday? Or anything on Monday until the evening?)
@WaityKatie Well, it’s not a ton of food but like $17 on gnocci when you’re supposed to be saving money is pretty extravagant as well as $4 coffee 3 times a day. I mean, I am HORRIBLE with money and do this kind of shit all the time despite dire need to get out of debt. It’s especially easy to go overkill on fancy coffee or pastries because while they still are under $5, it still costs more than a budget option like making it at home, going to a less fancy place or going without.
@shannowhamo Oh, definitely true re: spending, I was just confused by how this is impacting her “waistline” when she’s eating like 1200 calories per day.
@WaityKatie I assumed that she’s also eating food that she had previously purchased. This doesn’t look like a comprehensive list of her diet, just meals she’s spent money on in the last few days.
“Bottom” should be brackets for maximum title punnage
More details on the kale and avocado sandwich so I can make it at home please.
Am I the only one who spends money like crazy when they’re stressed about having to save money? The only time when I actually save any money is when I’m not thinking about it constantly.
@Slutface That’s how I am with losing weight. Of course, I’m always thinking about it, so this is mostly theoretical.
