Work Snacks

If you want to read about some of the fancy food available in startup cafeterias in Silicon Valley, that is a thing you can do. (Falafel waffles, fois gras, kobe beef, Google’s “world renowned” offerings, you know the usuallllllllll.) I’m sitting next to an open package of Jello Pudding Snacks  that I got from the 99 cents store so I’m not really feeling that jealous, but maybe you are? Love the life you’ve got.

If you insert half a chopstick through the top of an unopened one and freeze, it could help assuage your sadness from that melted icecream bar.

they have been giving out free KIND bars outside of my work all week. college campuses are good for promotional freebies.

I can say many bad things about my office, but we order groceries every two weeks and it is basically snack city. Nothing fancy but I was just eating some peanut butter pretzel bites and they were the bomb.

Alas, my Silicon Valley tech company has the same attitude as Apple. We do have unlimited fresh fruit though, so it could be worse.

@hellonheels Yeah. Ours has fruit, fizzy water, and coffee. And the option to telecommute part time. Free lunch is a big red flag to me after all the dotcom nonsense. I want a job where they expect me to leave and have a life after 8 hours, most days.
