I had $400 in fraudulent gas station charges, but it was the $34 charge to Golden Krust that raised red flags for the good people at Visa. I don’t even know how to drive.
This stuff used to be part of my job. Fraud monitory is based on a series of complicated algorithms that no one actually understands. As far as I know they were discovered on the wall of an Egyptian pyramid (starship?) and have never been fully comprehended by the minds of modern man.

-bill from dining establishment without liquor license
-gym membership
-subscription to the financial times
-gin
@wearitcounts i’m fine with the first three, but i won’t stand for anything that gets between me and gin.
@EvanDeSimone i’m very loyal to whiskey and all liquors brown. i’ll drink gin, but somebody has to make me.
@wearitcounts Whiskey in the cold months, gin in the hot. Liquor choice should be dictated by climate.

I must have pretty eclectic charges, because the one time someone did steal my credit card, Visa did not catch it.
If I leave town ever though, my debit card is usually shut down so fast after I get back, it is uncanny.
