One Rich Man Asks Another Rich Man What It’s Like to Be Rich
Actually Michael Arrington used the phrase “ridiculously wealthy” in his question to Reid Hoffman, the founder of LinkedIn, Greylock Partners, and an early investor in Facebook. Hoffman answered that now he’s asked for donations at universities instead of asked to give lectures, and that he has ridden in private jets. The first observation is somewhat interesting—it must be crazy to have people ask you for money all the time, yes, that is an interesting thing to think about. The second is SO BORING. Tell me about the vaults of gold!!!!1

LinkedIn hasn’t gotten me a job yet, will he give me money?
You’d think colleges would ask for lectures more than donations, based on the “give a man a fish and he eats for a night, teach a man to fish and he eats for life” logic, wouldn’t you?
Clearly this guy knows his shit and would have priceless lessons to teach!
