Gizmodo scored a copy of Apple’s Genius Training manual, and it’s about as fun as all training manuals to read, which means: SUPER FUN.

I love reading internal company documents that offer Indoctrination Into The Brand. It’s so ridiculous, and yet you start to see how it works. Apple is no different! BRANDSPEAK. TOUCHING LIVES THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER USING THE WORD “CRASH” (lol).

My new aprons for Starbucks have the company’s goals stitched into the inside of it so you see them as you put it on.

I had sales job training at Ann Taylor last week. My (very nice) manager cried when describing the work the company does for charity. Literally, there were tears. We also had long conversations about how we as a store empower women and share in their life events. It was a leeeeetle bit overwrought. A couple of times I had to bite my cheek to keep from giggling just at the training EMOTION.
