This week, a neighbor has left out a blender that looks like it’s possibly from the ’80s. Can anyone put a date on it? Should I donate it to a museum?

You should start a Billfold free box with all the shit your neighbors throw out. I’d totally hop on a Bolt bus for a bunch of spices, some West Wing DVDs, and a free blender.
If it is glass, I would take it!
Living in a college town, this is old hat. That said, most free stuff is concentrated around several peak times. For example, Hippie Christmas is just around the corner (August 14-15). Come to Madison, Wisconsin, and get all the futons your heart desires!
I bet you could sell that thing for $50 on Etsy. If they throw out a rotary phone, you’re really in the money!
