I supported the Blue Like Jazz movie, a music festival, an iPhone case, a local pizza company, an internet friend's theatre production, and the second-run movie theater in my city. I think it's really great to feel connected to artists--bands, especially, for me--and feel like you are kind of sharing in the successes.
