If I was dressed up in heels or something, walking a mile would not be very fun. :( Then again, one could pack flats. I save up money ahead of time so I can just go bananas while I'm there. You can get much better deals on tickets and things if you buy them ahead of time online. And my last tip is to stay at the MGM Grand in their suites; not like "presidential suite" but they have these rooms that are like miniature apartments with kitchens and whatnot. (Have loved the Beatles since I was wee) I too was tricked by the illusion of things being close to each other on the Vegas strip.
