I have unhealthy attitudes toward money. No disagreement here. But the one nonnegotiable expense in my life is living within the city limits of DC. Pentagon City terrifies me more than money. A lot more. The one time I got off at that metro stop to meet a friend at the mall, I wandered around in the sea of endless box stores for 30 minutes and finally just had to call her and ask her to meet me back at the metro entrance because I had no idea where I was and was about to have a panic attack. You don't have to consume a lot! But you also don't have to let your avatar become a virtual grifter for want of a lock. I don't know! I realize this is only one tiny snapshot of your life! I'm just glad you have Ritz Crackers Partner for balance. My partner and I alternate who gets to be the unhealthy saver/spender in different areas.
