When we showed up my friend had his eye on an irish car bomb which was over $5 at the time, in the hour or so we were there it went down to his target range of about $3.75. As soon as his was ordered it jumped back up over $4.
It’s a little early to be thinking about alcohol this morning, but I’m way more interested in the “stock market” this bar in Encinitas, Calif. uses to price its drinks based on demand. It seems like a fun way to get a discount on a drink, but also seems really stressful—like how there was a time when grocery stores in Brazil changed the prices on all their goods every day due to inflation. I like knowing what things cost so I can budget accordingly, thank you very much.
